Hotel Della Baia, Porto Venere

The hotel is located in a secluded area near Le Grazie next to Portovenere, offering a calm and beautiful setting. The rooms are slightly outdated and basic, lacking tea and coffee facilities with no pleasant views from them. Despite the shortcomings, the pricing is reasonable which compensates for the drawbacks. The dining options are reasonably priced with a good selection, making it convenient for guests.

The hotel had a bit of a run-down feel but offered a nice view. Rooms were small and had a lingering smell of old smoke. The staff, however, was very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, right by the sea, but not within walking distance to the beaches. The dining experience had some great choices but was not consistent. The facilities were average.

Walking into the hotel felt like stepping into a pool locker room, but the rooms were clean, above average, and the breakfast was good for the reasonable price. The spacious rooms offered beautiful bay views, yet some service aspects were lacking, with exceptions. The location was fantastic, away from the tourist areas but still accessible, although the food choices were limited. Overall, a good value for visiting nearby attractions.
